2025 Mycology Seminar Series - March(4 session)

The fourth seminar in our 2025 Mycology Seminar Series took place on 7th March 2025, featuring Prof. Annemieke Verbeken.  She is a renowned expert in Russulales, particularly the milk-cap genera, The seminar focussed on importance of traditional taxonomy specially in underexplored areas and in data-deficient groups of fungi. It also highlighted the incorporation of  molecular tools alongside taxonomy. Given the interactive session, it included discussions on some practical challenges in research.
